I ran my first jewellery workshop on Tuesday evening, everyone made a necklace and matching earrings.
They had a choice of silver plated or sterling silver, and a selection of different coloured cats eye beads to choose from.
It took a lot of planning and organising, from creating the initial design, and assembling kits to finding a venue, setting a date and advertising, but it was definately worth it. Marketing and advertising is not my stong suit, however my fears that no-one would come were unfounded and we had a fantastic evening. Everyone got completely absorbed into creating their beautiful pieces and the time just flew by.
Everyone seemed to have enjoyed it as much as I did, and all said they want to come on the next workshop I run. I'm so excited about this, that I'm already starting to think of ideas for what we can make!
The group were really interested in my Christmas jewellery kits of Snowmen Earrings and Christmas Tree Earrings, so I'll be including these in my November workshops ready for Christmas gifts!
Thank you to everyone who attended the workshop, you all did very well. I hope you all enjoy wearing your own creations and I look forward to seeing you on the next workshop soon!
