Crazy About Skating

When my figure skating coach suggested that I try making some skating jewellery, neither he or I imagined what that would lead to.

I used air dry clay to create a figure skate charm to hang as a pendant on a chain, but soon established an  ever growing range of skating jewellery, accessories and gifts. 



 





I also hand embroider skate cloths, to clean the ice off the blades.  These are available in white, cream, purple, green and bright blue.  They can be customised to add the skaters name on request.  They make lovely gifts for competitions as they are soft and light to throw on the ice at the end of a performance, and I gift wrap them in a clear plastic bag with a gift tag.

I also hand-embroider decorative cushions and tote bags



Other gift ideas are these lovely little photo frames, decorated with one of my clay figure skate charms, a handmade figure skate card, or a decorative skating box.

All of my pieces can be customised, so if you wear pink laces on your skates, you can order your clay skate charm to have pink laces as well.
